The Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF) has been proudly creating safer schools and communities for over 25 years! At this in-person celebratory event we will be honoring the Past, Present and Future of TKF and its people.

Special Performance by Voices of Our City Choir

Honoring our past:

• TKF founder Azim Khamisa and Ples Felix will be recognized for their commitment to restorative justice and peace. Through their story of forgiveness, and TKF's resulting safe school programming, countless lives have been touched and saved.
• Hear from impacted schools, teachers and students who benefited from TKF programming, as well as partners, who we thankfully recognize for the importance of our long-term partnership.
• Also, recognize our founding board members, mentors and staff who so selflessly supported our efforts in the early years.

Celebrating our present:

• Listen to Tony Hicks share his personal story of accepting forgiveness.
• Meet current mentors and mentees who will share what’s happening during these challenging pandemic times.
• Hear what currently is being done to combat youth violence and the fostering of a future generation of resilient young adults.
• Learn about our latest expansion efforts around the country.

Anticipating a successful future:

• Learn our plans for the expansion of the TKF Training Institute for Peace and Forgiveness
